About Me

Hi! Im Alyanna Katrina P. Capati. My friends call me Yani. I am a Marketing student from the University of Santo Thomas.  I am doing this blog as part of my course curriculum and for the completion of my requirement for my NSTP class.  I am tasked to do go to the barangay where my residence is located and conduct an interview with a barangay official as to how they cope up with disasters in our community. I am also tasked to do community walk within my barangay to personally experience this activity.

This is not my first time to do community visits. When I was in high school, we do visits to community year on year with the purpose of making people happy at least once in their lives. Our focus then is to be with the old people who were already abandoned by their families as well as children. We make sure we give these people one day in a year to share food and stories with them. Believe it or not, my heart is melting seeing these people with so much joy with our presence.

With this blog, I do really hope that I can impart more knowledge to my readers about community preparedness through my own little way of exploring!
